BAZAR: Reactions over Ministry Budget Suspension Discussed
Some private sector representatives have criticized members of parliament for their suspension of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce's budget, and for invalidating the minister's signature. Critics blamed the lower house for acting out of personal interests.
They say the decision by the Wolesi Jirga will have negative effects on private sector activities.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce also calls the lower house decision "illegal," and says the ministry's functions are proceeding normally.
In this episode, host Zarmina Mohammadi discusses the topic with Baktash Eshchi, parliament member, and Sherbaz Kaminzada, CEO of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
