BAZAR: 13 Million Afghans Have No Food Security

Tuesday, October 16 was World Food Day, and the United Nations said the number of people who have no food security in Afghanistan total around 13 million. 

According to the UN, the number of people facing food insecurity has risen from nine million to 13 million in the past few years.  

In this episode of Bazar, host Zarmina Mohammadi discusses the topic with Wahidullah Amani, spokesperson for the World Food Program. 

Mohammadi also discusses the contract of the second phase of Kabul-Maidan Shahar road, which has recently been approved by government. The road runs from Campani bridge in Kabul to Durrani bazaar in Maidan Shahar, in Maidan Wardak province. 

Mohammadi discusses the topic with Sulaiman Momand, a member of Transport Companies Union.
