Afghanistan’s Ministry of Information and Technology has discussed the signing of the technical verification contract of a fiber optic network from China to Wakhan of Badakhshan.
Officials at the ministry say that China Telecom will start its survey for laying fiber optic cables from China to Afghanistan this week.
Meanwhile, a number of tech experts say that by linking Afghanistan to the Chinese fiber-optic network, Internet services will improve in the country and Afghanistan will be linked to a secure Internet connection.
