BAZAR: Tax Fine Exemptions Extended

The Ministry of Finance has extended the 95 percent tax fine exemption program until the end of this fiscal year. 

The ministry’s revenue and customs department said that companies that do not clear their accounts with the Ministry by the end of this fiscal will be prosecuted.

General director of revenue at the Ministry of Finance said that in the first nine months of the fiscal year 2.7 billion Afghanis in tax fines was written off but that nearly 10 billion Afghanis has been collected after companies paid their accounts.
