The Independent Election Commission on Sunday, in response to concerns of the Stability and Partnership campaign (the team led by presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah), once again emphasized that only biometric votes will be valid.

“Only those votes processed by the biometric devices are valid," said Mohammad Abdullah, a member of the IEC.
