The Independent Election Commission (IEC), has “finalized all decisions” on the recounted votes and it may announce the preliminary results of the presidential polls on Wednesday, election commissioner Awrangzeb said.

The commissioner said the election process is in an “exceptional stage” and that the commission should decide on it.

The results were delayed three times due to rifts over almost 300,000 disputed votes.
