The Independent Election Complaints Commission (IECC) confirms that its Daikundi province office has referred those workers in the local Independent Election Commission (IEC) to the Attorney General who have "invalidated clear votes" at a number of polling stations.

The head of the secretariat of the Independent Electoral Complaints Commission, however, says that after an appeal, this decision is likely to change.
