Richard Olson, US former special envoy to Afghanistan, said that if the war with Iran take place, the US will need to stay in Afghanistan more and that might end peace talks with the Taliban.

Olson added that there is “little likelihood” of Iranian attacks on US military targets in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, sources to the Taliban say that the Taliban`s close relation with Iran does not mean that Iran can stop peace talks in Qatar.
