A representative of the Union of Specialists Abroad, in a meeting with Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, discussed the readiness of some doctors to return to the country.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, told TOLOnews that the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs mentioned efforts to facilitate the return of doctors to the country.

The meeting discussed the state of the country's healthcare situation.
Zabihullah Mujahid said: "They should spare no effort, and the Islamic Emirate will also support them. They also promised to make their efforts effective in the health sector and to work diligently."

Meanwhile, some doctors in the country said that under the current circumstances, the return of specialists in the health sector is very important.

"Some institutions are making great efforts to raise the educational level of doctors. These institutions should play a role in capacity building and, in addition, should establish medical institutes and universities so that our medical personnel can increase and go to white areas to provide proper health services," said Habib Rahman Ludin, a doctor.

A number of citizens of the country asked the authorities to also provide healthcare services in remote areas.
"A clinic should be built for us. The village is large, the current doctors are not enough, and a clinic should be built," said Abdul Bari, a resident of Kandahar.

The Union of Specialists Abroad includes 160 professional and specialist doctors, some of whom are also active outside the country.
