400 New Health Centers Formed Since Islamic Emirate Return

Officials from the Ministry of Public Health have announced that 400 health centers have been established nationwide since the return of the Islamic Emirate to power.

Abdullah, the head of Foreign Communications of the ministry, stated during a graduation ceremony for medical students at a private university that many districts are still deprived of health centers, and attention must be paid to this issue.

He said: "We have inaugurated approximately 400 buildings, and they are providing services. On Friday, we visited a very remote area in the Sayed Karam district, where there wasn't a single health center for many kilometers."

At the same time, some instructors at the event urged young people to stay in the country and further their education in various fields.

Mohammad Afzal Khwosti, the head of the private university, said: "Our request to the graduates is to stand by their oppressed and suffering people who have faced significant hardships and have struggled in every social, economic, and political aspect."

Meanwhile, some of the newly graduated students expressed their hopes that the Islamic Emirate would create opportunities for them to work in government health institutions.

A newly graduated student, Yousafzai, said: "Our studies have concluded, and we also want the government institutions to provide us with job opportunities."

Another graduate, Obaid, said: "Every year, hundreds and thousands of students from various fields, including medical faculties, graduate, but job opportunities for us are very limited, and young people are fleeing the country."

This comes as Afghanistan faces challenges in various sectors, including healthcare in remote areas.
