International Exhibition Held in Kabul to Promote Afghan Goods

The Imam Abu Hanifah international exhibit opened in Kabul on Thursday.

Officials of the Islamic Emirate at the exhibition said that they will support foreign and domestic investors in the country.

The 2nd Deputy Prime Minister said that the conditions for investment in the country have been provided and domestic and foreign investors can invest in mining, agriculture and energy industries.

"All territory in Afghanistan is available to everyone for investment," said Mullah Abdul Salam Hanafi.

According to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum numbers, in the past year the mining work of nearly 180 small mines has been entrusted to domestic companies, and now the ground is ready for investment in the mining sector.

"It's our rule that we give the small mines just for Afghans," said Shuhabuddin Delawar, the acting minister of the Minister of Mines and Petroleum.

"We have everything, so why we don't solve our problems that hinder progress," said Khairullah Khairkhwah, the acting Minister of Information and Culture.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce pledged that the Islamic Emirate is trying to change Afghanistan into an export country.

"We have to support our internal products," said Nooruddin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Commerce.

"Challenges in taxes bring people lots of problems and I ask for the attention of officials," said Mohammad Yunus Momand, the deputy head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This exhibition will continue until 17 Qaws (month) and more than 700 companies are to participating.
