An Afghan National Police (ANP) officer was killed and two more wounded after their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Jalalabad city, the center of Nangarhar province, local officials confirmed on Sunday.

The incident happened in PD1 of the city.

This comes after Kabul also witnessed a deadly car bomb attack on Sunday that killed at least 9 people and wounded 20 more.

No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for either attack.
