Balkh Students Display Electronic Inventions

Students in the northern province of Balkh displayed their hand-made electronic devices at an exhibition on Saturday.

The exhibition was held at the Ferdawsi High School in Dehdadi district of the province, where the students’ parents, educational authorities and other relevant officials participated.

The students urged the government to provide them with financial support.

“We can make even better electronic devices. I mean we can deal with the demands of our society if we are supported," said Sulaiman, a student.

Provincial education officials said they admired the students’ talent.

“We have made classes for them with less resources, but we can assure them that the classrooms will be open for them even in the holidays,” said Mohammad Ishaq Ahmadzai, Ferdawsi school principal.

“We support them. All officials in the educational department support them. They are worthy of admiration. They made great things,” said the head of the provincial education department.

The hand-made devices made by the students include small toys such as aircraft and motorbikes.

The students established a team of talented figures to work on the inventions. The group is named the “Inventor Team”.

“We want to make robots if we can get the support, because now we made them all with very few resources,” said Mohmmad, a student.
