Iranian Consul General and Scholars Call for Islamic Unity Against West

The Iranian Consul General and several religious scholars in a gathering in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif called on Islamic countries to maintain their unity and solidarity against Western countries.

They described Western countries as blind and called for an end to the war and genocide in Palestine.

Hamid Reza Ahmadi, the Iranian Consul General in Mazar-e-Sharif, said, "Every day, dozens of defenseless and oppressed people are martyred, and nothing changes. It’s as if nothing has happened; no one comes, no one goes, nothing. Everyone has accepted these conditions and says they can’t do anything."

Mehrabuddin Joya, a religious scholar, said, "Jews and Christians are committed to each other in many issues. Why are you Muslims, with your unity of word, unity of Qibla, one God, and one Prophet, engaged in internal conflicts? These disputes benefit the enemy, not Sunnis or Shiites, but those who have planned this enmity."

Participants and organizers of this meeting called on Islamic nations to seriously fight against the genocide in Palestine and accused Western countries of causing destruction in Palestine.

Skandar Hosseini Bamdad, the organizer of the gathering, said, "Today, the issues that the Islamic community and Islamic countries are grappling with, the issue of Jerusalem and Palestine, have become a serious concern for Muslim nations, and genocide is ongoing."

In the latest Israeli air and ground attacks on central and southern areas of the Gaza Strip, at least 19 Palestinians have been killed and several others injured.
