While Tehran is a day away from hosting the sixth Moscow Format meeting, the participation of the interim government has not yet been determined.

Representatives from Russia, China, Iran, and Pakistan are expected to attend the meeting to discuss the upcoming third Doha forum.

Previously, Zamir Kabulov, the Russian President's special representative for Afghanistan, stated that the consultations at this meeting would focus on preparations for the third Doha meeting.

"This is a kind of lobbying both for the Afghan government and regional countries so that Afghanistan can adopt a neutral and balanced stance as much as possible, and to prevent Afghanistan from once again becoming a battleground for Western powers and political influence," said Ikram Arifi, an expert in international relations.

Meanwhile, some political analysts believe that the presence of representatives from the interim government is crucial for greater interaction with other countries.

"Now the world must take steps and compromise on some of its principles to engage with the Islamic Emirate. I think now is the best chance for the interim government to comply with some of the world's demands," said Idris Mohammadi Zazi, a political analyst.

The Moscow Format meeting on the situation in Afghanistan is being held in Tehran while the third Doha meeting on Afghanistan is scheduled to take place in three weeks.
