A number of capital residents are asking the Islamic Emirate to focus seriously on ensuring comprehensive security in the country, especially in the capital, during the days of Eid al-Adha.
Farshad, a resident of Kabul, told TOLOnews: "Our request from the Islamic Emirate is to properly ensure our security, securing the mosques and parks during the days of Eid."
Rashid, another resident of Kabul, said: "My request is that the security of our citizens be ensured in every corner of Afghanistan so that they can go out during the days of Eid in complete safety."
At the same time, officials from the Ministry of Interior speak of implementing a plan for security during the days of Eid al-Adha in coordination with all security agencies.
Abdul Mateen Qani, the spokesperson for the ministry, also asks the country's citizens to cooperate with the security forces in this regard.
Qani said: "We fully assure all citizens that the security forces, especially the police, are always at their service, in snow, rain, Eid days, in hardship, and in all conditions."
Meanwhile, some of the security forces in the capital, who have been assigned to ensure security especially during the days of Eid, reassured the citizens.
Mohammadi, a security officer, said: "We give full assurance to the people that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's forces are at the service of the people 24/7 and ensure their complete security."
Mohibullah, another security officer, said: "We tell the people to live in peace, celebrate Eid with their families happily and comfortably."
Previously, citizens of the country have complained about shooting into the air, the sale of firecrackers, and plastic weapons for children during the days of Eid, and have always asked security officials to prevent such incidents as well.
