Chaman Protesters Demand Release of Members of Movement

Protesters in Chaman said that Pakistani forces enter their homes at night in civilian clothes.

Members of this protest movement added in a press conference that the Pakistani government is deliberately trying to disrupt the situation in Chaman.

They warn that from now on, the responsibility for any incident that occurs will lie with the Pakistani security agencies.

Abdul Manan, the head of one of the committees of the Chaman protest movement, said: "If you continue with this action, the anger of these people will be uncontrollable."

In addition to following up on the incidents of the 5th and 6th of June this year, the leadership members of the Chaman protest movement are demanding the immediate release of other members of this movement from Pakistani prisons.

"I want to say that some of the Chaman security officials are responsible for the killing of three people and the wounding of 40 others. They should be prosecuted and removed from their positions," said Sher Ali Pacha, a member of the Chaman protest movement.

"We demand the release of the movement’s members, including the spokesperson, the head, and three other members who are currently in military prisons," said Abdul Khaliq Sani, a member of the leadership of the Chaman protest movement.

Members of the Chaman protest movement said that free movement with identification cards at the Spin Boldak-Chaman crossing is one of their fundamental demands, and they will continue their protests until this demand is met.
