Islamic Emirate Leader Holds Talks with Senior Security Officials

Yesterday (Sunday), the leader of the Islamic Emirate met with Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, acting Ministers of Defense, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, acting Interior Minister, and Abdul Haq Wasiq, the Director General of Intelligence in Kandahar.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, said that the leader of the Islamic Emirate gave directives to senior security officials to ensure better security.

According to the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, and Abdul Haq Wasiq discussed various issues with the leader of the Islamic Emirate.

Hamdullah Fetrat, deputy spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, added regarding this meeting: "During the session, officials from security agencies provided explanations to the esteemed leadership about progress and actions in their respective areas of work. In this meeting, issues related to security agencies were also discussed, and the leadership issued necessary directives to resolve them."

Meanwhile, some experts consider joint meetings between security agencies and the leader of the Islamic Emirate to be effective in bringing about greater coordination and addressing the people's demands in various areas.

"They are obliged and bound to go to the leader of the Islamic Emirate and share the people's problems with him. If the people's demands are not heard, we cannot become united," Hamidullah Hotak, a political affairs expert, told TOLOnews.

"The leader of the Islamic Emirate should summon security officials and governors to him every month and meet with the officials of the Islamic Emirate directly to give them directions to address the people's problems as quickly as possible," said Aziz Stanekzai, a military affairs expert.

This comes as the leader of the Islamic Emirate had previously met with corps commanders and the strategic intelligence deputies of the Ministry of Defense and emphasized the removal of undesirable individuals from the ranks of the Islamic Emirate forces.
