Acting Def. Minister Calls for End to Division, Mistrust Among Afghans

Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the acting Minister of Defense, said that numerous efforts have been made to create mistrust among the people in the country.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of students from the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVET), the acting Minister of Defense also mentioned that the country is currently facing serious challenges in various sectors, and the Islamic Emirate is committed to supporting young people in their pursuit of education.

"All the enemy's efforts have been thwarted. Division, ill intent, mistrust towards each other, opposing each other, and protesting against each other must be abandoned from now on," said Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid.

The Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office, Abdul Salam Hanafi, emphasized the importance of acquiring modern sciences and urged young people to use the current environment to gain expertise in various fields.

"Here [in Afghanistan], we do not have a specialist who can analyze a taken photo and, based on it, a doctor and specialist can prescribe. It is our responsibility to undertake these tasks," Abdul Salam Hanafi said in this ceremony.

Neda Mohammad Nadim, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, addressed the newly graduated students, saying: "You have done a lot of practical work alongside theoretical studies. Therefore, we pay attention to you, and you should strive to advance in your field and achieve bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees."

This program was organized to celebrate the graduation of about 1,300 individuals from more than 20 sections of the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVET).
