A number of Afghan refugees in Germany criticized the challenges they are currently facing and urged the caretaker government to seriously address their issues.
Germany is one of the countries where thousands of Afghan citizens currently reside.
"The problems that Afghan migrants in Germany face include the issue of permanent residency. Those whose residency applications are rejected not only lack the right to stay but also the right to work and study," said Ali Wahdat, an Afghan refugee in Germany.
Meanwhile, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock criticized statements made by Chancellor Olaf Scholz regarding the deportation of Afghan refugees from Germany.
Annalena Baerbock, without naming anyone in particular, said that unfulfilled commitments cannot contribute to ensuring security.
Annalena Baerbock said: "I believe, especially in these uncertain times, if you make commitments that you can't understand how to implement the next day, it can't help ensure security."
"The deportation of Afghan refugees from Germany is a controversial issue because Afghan refugees are concerned about their future in Afghanistan and are calling for the cessation of this process. They are also seeking fair examination of their cases and more support from Germany to build a better life for themselves and their families," said Ali Reza Karimi, an immigration rights activist.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had said that Berlin is deciding on the deportation of Afghan refugees from the country and preparations for this process are underway.
