Mawlawi Abdul Kabir Discusses Expanding Diplomatic Ties During Iran Visit

During his visit to Iran, Deputy Political Prime Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir spoke about establishing official political relations between the Islamic Emirate and various other countries around the world.

In a meeting with the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to Iran, several diplomats, and Afghan businessmen in Iran, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir emphasized that the Islamic Emirate holds a significant political position both regionally and internationally, seeking positive relations with the entire world, especially with Islamic countries.

Hamidullah Fitrat, the Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, saying: "Honorable Mawlawi Sahib Abdul Kabir, while sharing their problems with the Iranian officials, assured them and invited them to come to Afghanistan and invest, as there are now better investment opportunities in Afghanistan than ever before."

According to the Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, in a meeting with the Iranian Minister of Interior, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir discussed bilateral relations between Kabul and Tehran, security issues, drugs, and resolving challenges faced by Afghan refugees in Iran.

Sayed Abdul Muqadam Amin, a political analyst, said: "If the Islamic Emirate can establish lawful relations with the West and the East through active diplomacy and maintain positive interactions with regional countries, Afghanistan will be on the path to development."

Mohammad Nabi Afghan, an economic analyst, stated: "A mechanism should be developed for joint investments here. We need to learn from the Iranian officials and bring that knowledge here. If one of our traders comes or we establish a factory, what are the characteristics of the factory? What does the trader need?"

This comes as on Sunday, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Political Prime Minister, along with his delegation, arrived in Iran for a three-day official visit to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran's newly elected President, Masoud Pezeshkian.
