Several young people, in a meeting with Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Islamic Emirate's deputy prime minister for administrative affairs, have requested that job opportunities and educational scholarships for youth be provided.
According to a statement of the Arg, the youth in this meeting praised the Islamic Emirate's efforts in ensuring security, combating drug trafficking, preventing administrative corruption, and launching various large and small developmental projects.
In the meeting with youth, Abdul Salam Hanafi said that efforts to create job opportunities in the country are ongoing.
The statement from the Arg added: "They [the youth] pointed out that efforts have been made by the Islamic Emirate to build capacity in various sectors and they requested the leaders of the Islamic Emirate to focus on creating employment opportunities for the youth, providing educational scholarships, equipping the country's hospitals with modern equipment, and expanding the specialization programs for doctors."
Meanwhile, some other young people in the capital also called on the Islamic Emirate to provide employment opportunities for them.
Shadab, a resident of Kabul, said: "My request is that if this matter reaches the government, I strongly urge them to pay attention to several factories and try to activate them because with their activation, the youth will be engaged in work."
Mashal, another resident of Kabul, said: "The government should pay attention to this area, provide job opportunities, and activate factories and companies."
Earlier, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs had announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with six domestic and foreign organizations worth 3.7 million US dollars, under which, with the start of the signed projects, nearly 2,500 people in seven provinces will be provided with job opportunities.
