Today (Wednesday), the 24th of Asad, marking the third anniversary of the Islamic Emirate's return to power in Afghanistan, was commemorated with separate ceremonies in Bagram and Kabul.
High-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate participated in a ceremony held in Bagram, which featured military parades and displays of military equipment.
During his speech in Bagram, Sirajuddin Haqqani, acting Minister of Interior, said that the Islamic Emirate is not seeking confrontation with the world.
The acting Minister of Interior added: "Our freedom was taken away, but we reclaimed it; we do not intend to confront them. We have provided a good opportunity and have good intentions, inviting them [foreigners] to work with us on Afghanistan's development. Just as you cooperated during the occupation, cooperate with us in progress."
At the same time, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, stated during the ceremony in Bagram that the Islamic Emirate will strive to expand its relations with the world in the coming year.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir added: "We expect that next year, we will activate Afghanistan's diplomatic missions in many countries and send our diplomats."
Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, stated at the ceremony: "We seek good and friendly relations with all countries in the region and beyond, as well as economic relations. We ask that they do not interfere in our internal affairs, and we will not interfere in theirs."
Meanwhile, several Islamic Emirate officials participated in a ceremony held at Ghazi Stadium.
Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressed a balanced foreign policy during a ceremony at Ghazi Stadium, stating that the Islamic Emirate does not want Afghanistan to become a battleground for "negative competition."
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs said: "We want balanced policies and relations with the whole world. We do not want Afghanistan to once again become a field for negative competition."
Noorullah Noori, the acting Minister of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes, stated during the ceremony at Ghazi Stadium: "The enemies, who are enemies of religion, the land of Afghanistan, the government of Afghanistan, and the current situation in Afghanistan, cannot tolerate the current Islamic system in Afghanistan."
In a message on the occasion of the third anniversary of the Islamic Emirate's rule over Afghanistan, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate urged officials to never forget to strengthen and protect the people and the Islamic system.
