Zabul Police Chief: US Left Due to Islamic Emirate’s Resistance

Salahuddin Ayubi, the Zabul Police Chief, in an exclusive interview with TOLOnews, said that if the Islamic Emirate's struggle in Afghanistan had not existed, the United States would not have left the country.

Ayubi added that there was no deal for the US withdrawal and the takeover of Afghanistan.

The Zabul Police Chief further said: "This is something obvious, there's no need to explain it. Everyone knows that if there was no force, the US would not have left here [Afghanistan]. The US had sinister plans for all of Central Asia."

This senior member of the Islamic Emirate also mentioned that the U.S. brought Daesh into existence to create divisions among Muslims and supported this group in regional countries, particularly in Afghanistan.

Salahuddin Ayubi said: "Daesh was trained by the Americans, and they created Daesh to cause discord among Muslims."

In this interview, he also mentioned that after the Islamic Emirate's victory, they were in contact with Ahmad Massoud, but the attempts to negotiate with Ahmad Massoud were unsuccessful.

Ayubi called on all former government figures to return to the country and share their challenges with the Islamic Emirate's officials through dialogue.

He added: "Our message to them is to come through negotiations, and if they have any issues, they should resolve them through dialogue and reconciliation."

Salahuddin Ayubi is one of the senior commanders of the Islamic Emirate who was among the first to enter the Presidential Palace on August 15, 2021.
