Fitrat: Islamic Emirate Recently Made Diplomatic Progress

Hamdullah Fitrat, the Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, stated that the Islamic Emirate has made significant diplomatic progress in recent weeks.

Fitrat highlighted the recognition of the Islamic Emirate's ambassador by the United Arab Emirates, the appointment of the Islamic Emirate's chargé d'affaires to Kazakhstan, and the visit of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan to Afghanistan as examples of this progress.

According to Fitrat, these events indicate that the foreign policy of the Islamic Emirate is expanding. Hamdullah Fitrat told TOLOnews: "All of this shows that the foreign policy and diplomatic relations of the Islamic Emirate are expanding, and we hope to witness similar advancements in the near future."

Additionally, delegations from several regional countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, a delegation of religious scholars from Turkey, and most recently, the newly appointed chargé d'affaires of Qatar, have visited Afghanistan.

Over the past month, high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate have also traveled to Iran, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

"The visits of high-level delegations from various countries to Afghanistan and from Afghanistan to regional countries are naturally a positive step towards the stability of the country, establishing diplomatic relations, building trust in the international arena, and ultimately paving the way for the recognition of the Islamic Emirate," Sayed Muqaddam Amin, a political analyst, told TOLOnews.

"The diplomatic visits of Afghan government officials, especially in the region, and the appointment of new ambassadors of the Islamic Emirate to the UAE and Kazakhstan indicate that the Afghan government is both strengthening and expanding its position in the international arena," said Fazl Rahman Orya, another political analyst.

Although no country has yet officially recognized the Islamic Emirate; however, after China, the United Arab Emirates became the second country to accept the credentials of the Islamic Emirate's ambassador.

Officials of the Islamic Emirate have repeatedly stated that the interim government currently has nearly forty active diplomatic missions abroad.
