The Political Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office stated that the Islamic Emirate seeks positive engagement with all countries, including the United States.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir emphasized at a ceremony in Kabul that if the international community comes to Afghanistan again with the intention of occupation, the Afghan people will not accept occupation and coercion.
Regarding this matter, the Political Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office said: "We tell the world that if you come to Afghanistan for engagement, we have no problem with you; but if you come for occupation, the history of the Afghan people is known to the world. If anyone shows hostility toward Afghanistan, Afghanistan's stance is clear — it will respond to that hostility."
According to this official of the Islamic Emirate, the countries that come to Afghanistan for engagement and investment will be welcomed with open arms by the Islamic Emirate. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir stressed that currently cities are not being destroyed in the pursuit of power, and the Islamic system is in place throughout the country.
He further added: "The foreign policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is centered on the economy, and we are ready for positive engagement with all countries of the world within the framework of Islamic Sharia."
More than three years after the return to power of the Islamic Emirate, no country has yet recognized the interim government. However, the embassies of the Islamic Emirate are open in some countries, and the embassies and representatives of some countries remain active in Afghanistan.
