Neda Mohammad Nadim, acting Minister of Higher Education, stated that the enemies of the Afghan people have rolled up their sleeves to tarnish the Islamic system's reputation by spreading negative rumors.
Nadim added that these enemies are promoting rumors suggesting that the Islamic Emirate is not committed to the development of knowledge and science, while most officials of the Islamic Emirate are scholars and experts in the field.
Speaking at the sixteenth graduation ceremony of Bamyan University students, the acting minister stressed that the Islamic Emirate pays special attention to the expansion of knowledge and science in the country. He also mentioned that standing against any negative rumors is a collective responsibility for everyone in the country.
Neda Mohammad Nadim said, "The enemies are watching us; sometimes, they raise voices claiming that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is not committed to knowledge and is against education. The formation of the Islamic Emirate is comprised of scholars. This system was established by scholars."
Abdullah Sarhadi, the governor of Bamyan, remarked: "Those in government positions who think that our people are alienated from us, that is the thinking of the enemy and outsiders."
In the sixteenth graduation cycle of the current solar year, 635 students from seven faculties of Bamyan University received their graduation certificates. While some of these students express concerns over unemployment and poor economic conditions, they call on the acting government officials to focus on providing suitable job opportunities.
Chiragh Ali, a recent graduate, said: "To create employment opportunities for students, the government should develop a precise strategy to prevent them from seeking opportunities abroad."
Faheem, another recent graduate, commented: "Currently, all students are in a dire economic situation. Providing job opportunities for those who graduate is crucial."
The acting Minister of Higher Education also pledged that appropriate job opportunities would be created for these graduates.
Neda Mohammad Nadeem said, "We are trying to find good job opportunities for you; we have spoken to every minister, saying that our youth should be appointed in your ministries."
Meanwhile, the acting minister of Higher Education inaugurated a well-equipped library built by a Turkish cultural organization at Bamyan University and laid the foundation stone for the university's enclosure.
