According to Abdul Matin Qane, additional forces will be recruited by this ministry based on needs.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior added: "The police force of the Ministry of Interior approximately reaches two and a half hundred thousand, which means around two hundred and fifty thousand, fluctuating slightly. According to Qane, alongside male police officers, there is also a need for female police officers to serve the people, and the number of female police officers will also increase according to needs.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior said: "Currently, based on necessity, nearly two thousand, exactly one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine female police officers, are engaged in various service sectors, including inspection, and, as needed, more will be recruited."

Several military and political analysts emphasize the specialization and professionalization of the police, believing that the police play an important role in public order, security, and unity.

Yousuf Amin Zazai, a military affairs analyst, said: "The Ministry of Interior should prioritize training, professionalism, and commitment to the country and its people. For order and discipline, they must have a commitment charter and a code of conduct."

Idris Mohammadi Zazai, another political affairs analyst, said: "The police organize the people, integrate them, bring security, and reduce the gap between the nation and the government."

This comes as earlier the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense had said that the number of national army forces is set to increase to 200,000 in the current solar year and that this figure will rise annually based on needs.
