The Deputy Minister of Interior, speaking at a gathering held in Khost to commemorate the Jihadi figure Jalaluddin Haqqani, said that there are challenges within the current system, but emphasized that addressing these issues requires consultation with the people.
Mohammad Nabi Omari, Deputy Minister of Interior, said: "Youth! For God's sake, don't go after those who have no value, based on the experience we have, and you do not. It will ruin both your worldly life and the hereafter. For God's sake, accept your Emirate, support and defend it. We also have problems; we are neither saints nor prophets. We need people's opinions and consultations, as long as they do not conflict with religion."
In another part of his speech, Mohammad Nabi Omari called on the people to support the Islamic Emirate and continue to adhere to the current principles and regulations.
Omari added: "Do not go beyond the laws, instructions, and regulations of the Emirate, and do not follow foreigners. If you see that we are being subservient to foreigners, then you have the right to call us spies, traitors, and slaves of foreigners."
The participants of this meeting called on the Islamic Emirate to utilize the experiences of the people, especially the capacities of the youth within the government structure.
