Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Political Prime Minister, in a meeting with several religious scholars and tribal elders, stated that the Islamic Emirate does not permit the incitement of ethnic and linguistic issues in the country.
Arg, in a statement, announced that the Deputy Political Prime Minister emphasized addressing the proposals and demands of the officials and elders of Panjshir during this meeting, adding that if necessary, he would convey these proposals to the leader of the Islamic Emirate.
The statement from the Arg said: "The Islamic Emirate never allows discrimination and prejudice. It emphasizes balanced development and appreciates the jihad of the people of Panjshir against the former Soviet Union."
Samiullah Ahmadzai, a political affairs expert, said, "The government is making considerable efforts to control such issues. Through these visits to various regions, they seek to manage provocations stirred by enemies and to foster unity and solidarity in Afghanistan."
A number of Panjshir residents called on the Islamic Emirate to pay more attention to developmental projects, particularly in the fields of healthcare and education in the province.
Sharif, a resident of Panjshir, said, "Our expectation is that our problems, such as bridges, roads, and drinking water, will be solved."
Mujeeb, another resident of Panjshir, stated, "Our demand is that job opportunities be provided for the people of Panjshir."
Meanwhile, the Ambassador and Special Representative of the Iranian President for Afghanistan claimed in an interview with an Iranian media outlet yesterday that ethnic, linguistic, and religious minorities in Afghanistan are being subjected to discrimination.
