Some Provinces Celebrate Overthrow of Syrian Govt, Victory of Islamic Group

Several provinces in the country, including Paktia, Khost, Nangarhar, Balkh, and Kunduz, witnessed public gatherings celebrating the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's government in Syria.

Citizens in these provinces took to the streets to express their joy over the victory of Bashar al-Assad's opponents, congratulating the Syrian people on the political transformation in their country.

Ezatullah Mukhles, the organizer of the gathering in Paktia, said: "Those gathered here are celebrating the victory in Sham. The brave Muslim people of Paktia send their congratulations to the Mujahideen and warriors of Sham on this great victory."

Ahmadullah, another resident of Paktia, stated: "All Muslims are happy and proud. May God bring the day when Palestine is also freed from Israel."

Meanwhile, several other citizens emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity among Islamic countries to prevent oppression and injustice against Muslims in the Middle East, particularly in Palestine.

Jamaluddin, a religious scholar, said: "We await the liberation of Palestine and the freedom of the Muslims' first Qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Ziauddin Seerat, the deputy academic head of Kunduz University, stated in a meeting: "God has granted this joy to another Islamic country today, and it is our duty to express gratitude for this happiness."

This comes as the 54-year rule of the Assad family in Syria collapsed on Sunday following battles between various jihadist groups, sparking mixed reactions on the international stage.
