Over 1,100 Panjshir Youth Recruited into Defense and Interior Ministries

Local officials in Panjshir have announced that, over the past two years, more than 1,100 young people from the province have been recruited into the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior at the directive of the Islamic Emirate’s leader.

According to them, the directive to allocate positions for youth in the security forces is exclusive to Panjshir province.

Mohammad Agha Hakim, the governor of Panjshir, stated: “At the provincial command level, 500 young people from Panjshir were recruited just last week. Inshallah, other youth will also be recruited into positions under the provincial police command in the near future. All Panjshir officials are focused on relieving the youth from unemployment.”

Some of these youths have been sent to Kabul to receive military training.

Mahmood Shah, a resident of Shotul district, said: “We joined the system and got employed. Our hope is that all our youth will be freed from unemployment.”

Firozuddin, a resident of Rukha district, added: “We wanted to join the system, and the Islamic Emirate has provided job opportunities for our people.”

According to local officials in Panjshir, out of the 1,100 recruited youths, 500 have joined the Ministry of Interior, and the remaining have been absorbed into the Ministry of Defense. After completing their military training, they will begin their duties within these ministries.
