Islamic Emirate Leader Asks 'All Sides' to Not Interfere in Afghan Affairs

The leader of the Islamic Emirate, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada, in his message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, stated that the Islamic Emirate seeks fraternal relations with all Islamic countries.

Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada called on all nations to respect the values of the Afghan people and emphasized that no party should interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.

“We also seek constructive and beneficial relations with other countries based on Islamic principles,” he said. “We urge all sides to respect the beliefs and values of the Afghan people, refrain from interference in our internal matters, and avoid disrupting our stability, security, and development.”

Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada underscored the importance of unity, stating, “Let us strengthen our unity to defend the Islamic system.”

The leader of the Islamic Emirate stressed that the judiciary under the Islamic Emirate must rule in accordance with Sharia and implement Hudood (Islamic punishments), noting that “this was the ultimate goal of our Jihad and sacrifices.”

Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada also urged religious scholars to play a role in correcting the beliefs of the youth, combating immoral practices, discouraging harmful traditions and extravagance, and helping enforce the decrees of the Islamic Emirate—particularly in explaining the laws of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice to the public.

Furthermore, the leader of the Islamice Emirate stated that educational institutions bear responsibility for shaping correct beliefs and encouraged them to align the curriculum with Islamic Sharia.

In his message, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada also condemned the attacks by the “Zionist regime” on Palestinians, calling them acts of severe oppression. He urged the Islamic world to support the Palestinian people in reclaiming what he described as their usurped rights.
