At least one civilian was killed and two others were wounded in a roadside mine blast in eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday morning, local officials said.
The incident occurred at 8:30 am local time in PD12 of Jalalabad city close to the customs department after a civilian vehicle was struck by a roadside mine, according to officials.
“The wounded have been taken to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition,” officials added.
The police have started investigations about the incident.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
