At least four people were killed and seven others were wounded in a blast at a wedding party on Friday night, a spokesman for provincial governor, Shamshad Laraway confirmed on Saturday. 

The incident took place in Mohammad Agha district in the province on Friday night and the wounded were taken to the nearby hospital, according to Laraway.

He said police have started investigations into the incident. No further details were given.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blast as yet.
