Kapisa Man Killed by Brother Over Football Match

A man in the central province of Kapisa was stabbed to death by his brother in an argument related to a football match between two well-known European clubs on Saturday evening, the provincial police confirmed.

The two men were supporters of two different teams – Barcelona and Valencia – which had a match on Saturday evening.

Valencia won the match 2-0. The incident happened after the match ended at around 9 pm, Kabul time, Kapisa police spokesman Shayiq Shorish said. 

Amin Agha, who was killed by his brother, was the resident of Kariz village in Hese Dowom-e-Kohistan district in Kapisa province, according to the provincial police spokesman.

Shorish said the perpetrator has fled the area but police are searching for him.
