A policeman was killed, and four others were wounded in a roadside mine blast in northern Balkh province on Sunday afternoon, local officials confirmed on Monday.
The blast took place in Shortepa district of the province after a police vehicle hit a roadside mine, the district governor, Mohammad Karim said.
“The condition of the wounded people is good, and they were taken to the hospital quickly,” he said.
However, no group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blast.
