Students in Faryab province said that their school buildings are in disrepair and they asked the government to rebuild them. 

One of the high schools in the Almar distract of Faryab is such a case.

“Windows do not have glass, classes don’t have doors, we need government attention to rebuild it,” said Nek Mohammad, a student. 

In addition, these students say that a lack of books are problems they are facing.

“Lessons are good but we are faced with a lack of books, notebooks, pens and other problems,” said Hujat Ullah, a student. 

 Teachers also raised concerns.

“We have a lack of technical teachers of chemistry, mathematics and geology,” said Yonis Arab, headmaster of Almar District Central High School. 

Meanwhile, the department of education in Faryab province acknowledged the problems and said they have a plan to address them.
