The Kapisa Directorate of Information and Culture announced that before the first three months of this year, more than 20,000 tourists have visited the recreational areas of this province.

According to the directorate, the Ministry of Information and Culture also initiated the construction of a standard hotel to provide facilities for tourists.

Nasratullah Nasrat, head of culture and tourism at the Kapisa Directorate of Information and Culture, said: "We proposed to the ministry to have a standard hotel or at least a place for accommodation so that when tourists come, they can leave their luggage and move towards any district they wish to visit."

Some visitors say that Kapisa has many recreational spots and that the caretaker government officials should provide more facilities for the people.

Muzaffar, a resident of Mazar-i-Sharif, said: "Indeed, the north has very beautiful places. We came, we saw, and we enjoyed the Reqrawan and Sayed."

Abdullah Faramarz, a resident of Bamyan, said: "We came with friends; it was truly an excellent place. We enjoyed it."

Kapisa is a scenic province adjacent to Kabul and attracts a high number of visitors from across the country in the spring season.

Navidullah, a resident of Parwan, said: "In my view, the Reqrawan (flowing sand) of Kapisa is very beautiful and attracts everyone's attention. It is truly a sight to behold."

According to officials, Sayad National Park, Reqrawan (the flowing sand), and the scenic areas in Tagab district are among the places most visited by tourists.
