Installation of CCTV Cameras in Parwan to Enhance Security

The Ministry of Interior has announced the installation of nearly one thousand CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) cameras in Charikar city, the center of Parwan province.

Officials from the ministry have said that they intend to expand this initiative to other districts of the province as well.

According to the officials, the installation of CCTV cameras will help reduce crimes and disorder in the city.

Mohammad Ibrahim Naseri, the General Director of Telecommunications and Technology at the Ministry of Interior, said: "Based on the directive of the Ministry's leadership and the five-year strategic plan, we have been able to install security cameras in Parwan province so that security forces can use them for better security control."

Karimullah Sajed, Head of Security at Parwan Police Command, said: "One thousand cameras have been installed in different areas, including mobile cameras and 80 cameras that have a wide field of view."

Some residents of Parwan consider the installation of these cameras a positive step and urge the authorities to pay serious attention to maintaining and keeping them operational in the city, as well as in commercial and residential areas.

Abdul Rahim, a resident of Parwan, said: "The installation of security cameras ensures security for all citizens and those engaged in work and trade."

Mohammad Akbar, another resident of Parwan, says: "Our request is to extend these cameras to the alleys as well."

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that the installation of CCTV cameras is of great importance in improving the security situation and that this process is expected to be implemented nationwide.
