Roshan Company: Balkh Province Connected to 4G Internet

The telecommunications company Roshan has upgraded its internet service in Balkh province from 3G to 4G.

The officials of this company, during a program, announced that they have many developmental plans and that Roshan's internet will be upgraded to 4G in most parts of Afghanistan in the coming year.

Mohammad Asif Sharifi, the provincial head of Roshan's telecommunications network, said: "Roshan Telecommunications Company has provided many development services over the past three years, and a few months ago, we officially activated 4G services in Balkh. We hope that by next year, all districts and villages will benefit from high-speed 4G internet."

Residents of Balkh, expressing their satisfaction, said that telecommunications networks should work on reducing internet prices while improving the quality.

Nasratullah Azimi, a resident of Mazar-e-Sharif  said: "We are very happy that Roshan's internet in our city has become 4G, but our request is that they further increase the internet speed and also pay attention to reducing the cost of packages."

Jamshid Jahanfar, another resident of Mazar-e-Sharif, said: "The expectation of all the people of Afghanistan is that telecommunications companies should improve their services honestly, enhance internet quality, and reduce prices."

Roshan is one of the active telecommunications companies in Afghanistan, which started its operations in 2003 and now covers most areas of the country.
