Parwan Expands Orphanage Capacity, Enhances Care for Vulnerable Children

The department of Labor and Social Affairs in Parwan province stated that the capacity of the orphanage in the province has increased from 100 to 400 individuals, including girls.

According to the department, many orphaned and homeless children are being educated and nurtured in these orphanages.

"We have created a capacity for 400 individuals in public and private orphanages. Orphaned children and children whose parents are addicted are identified and supported," said Qudratullah Zakir, head of Labor and Social Affairs in Parwan.

Meanwhile, several children in these orphanages have called for better facilities for education.

"We need desks and chairs so that we can study and learn comfortably," said Amina, one of the students.

"In our classrooms, there are only carpets, and there are no desks or chairs. We request the authorities to provide these facilities," said Nilofar, another student.

Recently, a new and standard orphanage has been established in Parwan by a domestic organization, with its equipment and supplies imported from China. According to officials, this orphanage will soon begin operations by accommodating 400 more children.
