Nimroz Hospital Inaugurated with $2M Investment

The new building of Nimroz Provincial Hospital, constructed at a cost of $2 million, has been inaugurated.

At the inauguration ceremony, the acting Minister of Public Health, Noor Jalal Jalali, stated that standard hospitals will be built in more than 300 districts across the country.

He emphasized that the budget for these hospitals has been approved, and the primary goal is to provide standardized healthcare services to all citizens.

The acting Minister of Public Health said: "This hospital, Inshallah, will address many of the people's health issues and will provide quality medical services."

The new Nimroz hospital building has a capacity of 100 beds, but local officials stress that to provide better services, necessary medical equipment must be supplied and specialized doctors should be hired.

Mohammad Qasim Khalid, the governor of Nimroz, said at the ceremony: "Physically, the hospital is complete, but in terms of medical services, it needs specialized doctors."

Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Khairullah Khairkhwa, also spoke about the completion of unfinished projects in Nimroz province, stating: "We are working to complete incomplete projects and will sign more contracts in the future to meet people's needs."

The opening of this hospital has brought joy to the residents of Nimroz. Due to the lack of standard medical facilities, many people in this province were previously forced to transfer their patients to Herat or other provinces.

"We hope that the opening of this hospital will help solve people's health problems,” said Abdul Ghaffar, a resident of Nimroz.

Lal Mohammad, another resident of Nimroz, recalled past challenges and said: "We used to take patients to Herat and other provinces for treatment, but unfortunately, some lost their lives on the way."

The acting Minister of Public Health announced that standard hospitals will be built in 318 districts across the country.

The goal of this initiative is to provide healthcare services in rural areas and prevent patients from having to seek treatment abroad.
