Residents of Salang district of Parwan province hunted and killed four rare mountain goats on Wednesday, local officials said on Thursday.

Mohammad Mahfoz Kohistani, the head of Parwan’s environmental agency, said that the hunters were from the villages Kokalami and Alocha Kham in Salang district.

Kohistani said that the perpetrators should be arrested and handed over to the law, and officials said that the police are searching for the perpetrators to arrest them.

According to the officials these goats are rare worldwide.
