Gunmen attacked an Afghan security forces vehicle in Pul-e-Charkhi area in PD9 of Kabul, killing two security forces and wounding three others, Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry, confirmed.

The incident happened in the Yakatoot area in PD9 of Kabul city after gunmen opened fire on a security vehicle and then fled the area, Rahimi said.

The police are investigating the incident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
