Scientific Seminar in Kabul Honors Scholarly Legacy of Herawi

The Academy of Science of Afghanistan (ASA) organized a scientific seminar titled "The Scholarly and Spiritual Status of the Renowned Interpreter and Hadith Scholar, Mullah Ali Qari Herawi" in Kabul.

In this seminar, several officials from the Islamic Emirate described Mullah Ali Qari Herawi, who was born in Herat and passed away in Mecca, as one of the prominent scholars of the Islamic world.

Mullah Ali Qari Herawi emigrated from Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia during the reign of Shah Ismail Safavi, where he successfully wrote 300 books on various Islamic sciences.

During the seminar, the President of the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan said that Mullah Ali Qari was a teacher of both Arabs and non-Arabs.

Fariduddin Mahmoud, the General Director of the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan, stated: "He was a teacher to Arabs and non Arabs; he was a teacher to all."

Meanwhile, the acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs also referred to Mullah Ali Qari Herawi as one of the prominent scholarly figures of the Islamic world and added that he dedicated most of his life to research, teaching, and authoring valuable books.

Noor Mohammad Saqib, the acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, said: "Mullah Ali Qari authored 300 books."

On the other hand, some researchers and writers presented their research papers on various aspects of Mullah Ali Qari Herawi's life to the participants of this seminar.

Mohammad Kabir Mashfaq, a writer, said: "Qari Herawi lived in the land of revelation for more than forty years, where he engaged in teaching, educating, and writing books for the Islamic community."
