BAZAR: Pakistan May Be Added to FATF Blacklist
Pakistan is in jeopardy of being placed on the "blacklist" of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), a global watchdog that monitors terror financing and money laundering around the world.
The head of the World Trade Chamber of Commerce says the central bank needs to take special measures to prevent money smuggling across the border with Iran and Pakistan. Also, the Chamber of Commerce and Investments says that Pakistan's name being blacklisted by the FATF will have adverse effects on official trade with Pakistan.
