Trade Fair Showcases Local Products in Nangarhar

Organizers of an exhibition in Nangarhar said a fair was organized by students at a higher education institution with the aim of marketing domestic products and encouraging businessmen to invest in the country.

In this exhibition, more than thirty types of domestic products were exhibited, including food and nutritional items.

“I urge the youth to not rely on the government because the government cannot provide us with all the facilities,” said Faisal, a student.

“If there are no job for our brothers, they can start with small investments until it develops in the country,” said Abdul Shakur, another student.

Najma, 22, displayed her handicrafts in this exhibition. She says such efforts by students to support domestic products are important and are aimed at encouraging domestic investors.

“I ask youth to help each other produce and market domestic products so that our country can prosper,”said Najma, a student.

Meanwhile, officials in this exhibition say that its purpose is to increase the capacity of students in marketing domestic products.

“The exhibition has several main aims, one of the main purposes is to support domestic production and to attract the attention of investors to develop production,” said Khoshhal Javad, head of the Altaqwa institute of higher education.

Students asked people to use domestic products over goods from neighboring countries.
