Trade Expo Organizers Seek to Boost Awareness of Domestic Goods

A major exhibition is being held for three days in the capital for the purpose of introducing and supporting domestic products.

The organizers of the exhibition, called “National Superior Services,” said that during the trade show, businessmen will show their products in 250 booths, with 100 booths allocated to women.

Muslim Khan, the head of exhibition, said: “The purpose of holding this exhibition is to improve and support the domestic products of the country to increase our domestic products, and such exhibitions are needed to bring awareness to the people to know about the domestic products of the country.”

Sadudin Saeed, Deputy Minister of Finance for Information and Culture, said they are supporting domestic products.

"Such exhibitions display the domestic products of factories, where people come to visit them and buy for themselves, their families and their offices," he said.

Meanwhile, a number of participants said that the active presence of women in exhibitions affects advertisements of their products.

"The more exhibitions there are, the more our sales are. We are happy that this type of exhibition will help our sales," said Sofia, a participant of the exhibition.

"In these kinds of exhibitions people will get to know our products. We take the orders and this is a big benefit to us because we cannot take our products to all areas at once,” said Hafasa Yousufzai, a participant of the exhibition.

"We have to introduce our products to the authorities of the Islamic Emirate and beside this we have complaints and also requests to discuss with them and to solve our problems in some ways,” said Omidullah, another participant at the exhibition.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce said that in 8 months of the current (solar) year, 13 exhibitions of domestic products have been held in the country.
