 The rights to inheritance is one of the basic and fundamental rights of women. The Sharia law has also certified the scale and level of rights of women to inheritance.
 
Despite that, large numbers of women in Afghanistan are not given the right to inheritance. In some cases, women do not feel comfortable to ask for their inheritance. Some women believe that by asking for inheritance, they themselves would close the door to their parents.
